Register the truck's kiosk tablet so it can take cash orders. Do this once, on the tablet itself, in the same browser the kiosk runs in.
Manager sign in
Only a manager or admin can register tablets.
This tablet Not registered
Registering asks for this tablet's fingerprint, face or screen-lock PIN. That confirms it with the tablet's own security chip.
This browser can't use the tablet's passkey. Set a screen lock (PIN, fingerprint or face) on the tablet and use Chrome or Safari for the kiosk. You can still register with manager approval only, but the passkey check is stronger.
Pair a Square Terminal with this tablet. The kiosk then shows "Pay with card" first, and the total appears on the Terminal for the customer to tap, insert or swipe. No app switching, so the kiosk can stay locked.
Run kiosk-terminal.sql in Supabase and redeploy kiosk-device first.

On the Square Terminal, at the sign-in screen, tap Use a device code (if it's already signed in to Square: Settings → sign out first).
Type the code above. It works for 5 minutes.
Leave this page open. It turns green when the Terminal is connected.
Card reader Off
Adds a "Pay with card reader" button to this tablet's checkout. It opens the Square POS app, which runs your paired Square Reader. Scan to Pay and cash stay as they are. Other tablets are not affected.
This page is open from a Home Screen icon. The card reader only works when the kiosk runs in Safari itself, so open rollinshawarma.com/kiosk.html in Safari (or use a bookmark that opens in Safari).
Needs: the Square POS app installed and signed in, the reader paired in that app, and Guided Access off (it blocks switching to the Square app). See KIOSK-READER-SETUP for locking the iPad another way.
Square Developer Console → your app → Point of Sale API → Web callback URL must be exactly:
